Protectors of the Peace {PoP} is looking to regroup after taking several months off. Most of our core group needed some time away from the game, but we've recently reuinited and are looking to fill some spots. We are an American guild, typically playing anywhere between 7pm-midnight Eastern time (GMT-5). We do have several members in central and on the west coast, so we don't discriminate against anyone.

A bit of history of the guild:
We formed in May 2006, and only 2 or 3 members remain from the original group from that summer. Over the course of the years, we've had many ups and downs, finishing 2006 Winterfest ladder season at rank 524 (approx). We started off small, exploded during the summer of 06, had a full alliance with 10 mil+ faction, then took some time off that fall. In Nov 07 we decided to take some time off as most of us were bored with the game, so we started playing other games (which some of us still do play). However, most of us have started playing GW more and more, and now we're looking to get back into the GvG scene playing as much as possible.

Due to the recent jumpstart of the guild, we're still relatively small but looking to improve our numbers. We've got a solid core group who are available to play almost nightly, while some of our more seasoned veterans are limited to just a couple of days per week.

More details of the guild and what we have to offer:
We are Kurzick, and the head of a very small alliance thus far
We have our own vent server, and use it frequently, even when not playing GW.
We have our own website with forums, which we urge members to visit often.
We've got all the basics - cape, fully stocked guild hall (Currently Warrior's)

What we're looking for:
Active people who either have experience in GvG battles, or active people who are willing to learn about GvGs. We "specialize" in GvG, but when the numbers don't allow, we spend time either in TA/HA/RA or farming in PvE, whether it be normal/HM areas or in UW/FoW. While we have a "core" group, all players in that core are not always on together, so we frequently roll others in as needed. We try to stick with certain builds, which are either posted on our website, or put up on Teambuilder for people to review. When the numbers allow, we roll people in and out on a first come -first served basis. We also require members to be on vent while playing, even if it is not with the rest of the guild. This way if we are in a GvG and you want to join the next one, you know when we're close to being done and when to be in the hall. We don't like sitting around waiting. Have your builds and equipment ready prior to joining the group.

Mesmers (we have one member learning to play it, but looking for more experienced mesmers)
Backup flaggers
